Crabb-Cake and Razzle Dazzle Glitz

This weekend was a fun one! I had the pleasure of creating a wedding cake and grooms cake for Lindsey and John who were married at Palmetto Bluff, and a wedding cake for Kimberly and James who were married at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa.

Lindsey chose a 3 tier square cake with shiny champagne colored butter cream complete with white lattice quilt piping and pearl swags. It was also decorated with a pearlized band and a monogram C. The grooms cake was a Dungeness crab because Lindsey and John's last name is Crabb.

Kimberly and James had a rhinestone reception and everything was glitzy and sparkling. Their cake was no exception! The 4 tier fondant cake with an alabaster finish was trimmed in shiny silver banding and a champagne satin swag and bow. The handmade custom sugar brooch had pearls and stones set in a silver circle. Kimberly wanted the cake finished off with a rhinestone monogram H, which she purchased.

I had lots of fun creating these beautiful cakes for such wonderful clients. I wish them much happiness and many successes in their married lives!

Onto the pictures!
