Time flies when you're---um, busy

Dear loyal blog followers,

Our apologies if it seems we've been in a bit of hibernation lately. I wish that were the case!

With so much happening the last few months, it has been difficult to keep you up to date. Because one great event has happened after another, I couldn't decide when the right time to fill you in would be. So- how about now??

Since you heard from me last, I've competed in the Taste of the Season, and took the prize for my towering holiday themed creation. We recently received 2011 Bride's Choice Award from WeddingWire.com, Our episode of TLC's 'Fabulous Cakes' has aired (which caused the emails and phone calls to spiral into uncharted territory), we've held a fantastic preview party for the show, local news stations have visited, the local newspaper wrote a fantastic article about us, we've created a HUGE Oscar Statue cake for Hospice Care of the LowCountry's "Hospice and Hearts" event, we've celebrated the opening of the Palmetto Running Company with a life-like running shoe cake, have been featured in Hilton Head Monthly's wonderful article on Grooms Cakes, have participated in a "Five Minutes With...." for Bragg Media, and we've even been a guest on WHHI's 'Lowcountry View with Earl Yates', which I hope most of you can catch at 10:30pm all this week.

WOWZA!

In addition to the buzz and media attention, we have also been creating amazing cakes!

I will be posting images in a series of blogs coming later this week. Here are a few teaser pics of some of the most recent events and photos.

Thanks for looking!!

2011 is going to be our best year yet!
