October at a close.

Tis the last weekend in October and I am catching up on the blog, organizing cake photo files, filing paperwork....etc. Yep....feels like a season coming to a close. With that being said, I couldn't think of any other weddings to really close up the season with other than those from the past couple weekends! These couples really wanted to focus on the details for both their weddings as well as wedding cakes. From ornate sugar designs, to an unorthodox use of color (which was actually very visually stunning), these wedding cakes were so much fun!!

Congratulations to the wonderful October newlyweds!!! Here's wishing a lifetime of happiness ahead of you!

It's October....really???

I can't believe it's October! Two reasons really....first, this year is FLYING by!!!!! Secondly, it still feels like summer and I cannot wait for cool "fall" weather!

Summer weather isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially if you are hosting a destination wedding here on Hilton Head and your guests are coming from colder more dreary wintery places....then bring on the beach! In that case, I am happy my brides get to experience the summer extension!

For this blog, I've combined two weeks into one blog. The cakes share a general theme and I thought the designs would compliment each other nicely if I combined posts.
